Tesoro is Spanish for treasure. Tesoro Corporation has been a San Antonio treasure since it was founded in 1968. Fisk Electric enjoys a long-term relationship with Tesoro involving a broad range of electrical services from replacing ballasts and receptacles to multi-floor reconfigurations, build-outs, and the full electrical construction of Tesoro’s off-campus World Data Center including redundant UPS systems and stand-by power generation equipment. Fisk preconstruction services for the data center involved scheduling, constructability issues, and value engineering to reach budget goals. Phase 1 includes three buildings: The 14-floor South Tower, the six-floor East Tower, and a 850,000-square-foot structured parking garage. The total square footage of the new office buildings is over 600,000 square feet including conference space, full kitchen/dining facility, and a fitness center.
